Travel to Boston
Flying to Boston
Boston Logan International Airport is the recommended airport for guests traveling by air, with direct access to the city.
There are three recommended methods to go from Logan Airport to Boston: the Silver Line, the Blue Line, or the Back Bay Logan Express. While it is possible to call an Uber or a Lyft from Logan, if you are staying in Boston, it will take just as long as the other options below.
The Silver Line is a bus that believes it's a train. It is free to ride from Logan Airport to Boston. Buses run every 15 minutes. It goes through the Seaport Neighborhood on its way to Boston's South Station.
The Blue Line is fast but requires a few steps. Start by taking either the 88, 55, 33, or 22 shuttle bus to Airport Station. Follow the signs for the Blue Line to Bowdoin. Pay by tapping your phone at the screens next to the gate to enter. It will cost $2.40.
Train to Boston
Rail travel is a convenient alternative for those in the Northeast corridor. Amtrak operates regular Northeast Regional and Acela service from New York City and other major cities to Boston’s South Station or Back Bay Station, providing a direct route into the city center.
Bus to Boston
Intercity bus services also connect Boston with New York and surrounding regions, with most routes arriving at South Station or nearby transit hubs.
Driving to Boston
Travel by car is possible from neighboring states; however, traffic congestion and limited parking should be taken into consideration.

Things to Do
Tucked into the city like a well-kept secret, the Cop Slide is equal parts urban legend and unofficial landmark. Its origins are, at best, loosely documented, but over time, it has earned a reputation as a rite of passage for those seeking a brief moment of chaos and joy. Equal parts curiosity and questionable decision-making, it has become a cultural touchpoint for anyone in the know.
Step into the basement that answers the question: "What if you were desperate for a tourist trap?". This place has everything: bad art and mediocre beer. The proximity to one another might improve the overall experience. But you'll have to go to find out.
Due to the excess of trophies awarded to the children of Cambridge, Massachusetts, an informal overflow space has been set up under the Cambridge side of the Longfellow Bridge.
Advice
Pee After Sex
Not directly related to Boston, but still good advice. Your mother was right. When was the last time you called her? Why not now? Just tell her you were thinking about her while reading your friend's travel advice website. Have fun connecting those dots.
Bring Good Walking Shoes
Boston is a walking city. In many cases, walking or public transit will be the fastest option. Your step count will quickly add up.
Location Location Location
Plan your visitg by grouping activices by location. Spend one day in downtown Boston and one day in Cambridge for the full experience. All other neighborhoods can be ignored unless you get a match on tinder.
